🌳✨ Today we had a lovely adventure at Keydells!

We explored the woodland walk, keeping our eyes peeled for all the magical creatures hidden along the trail. The children had so much fun spotting them all!

After our walk, we visited the café to buy some duck food before heading down to the lake. We were so excited to see a mummy duck with 9 adorable baby ducklings! 🦆💛 The children loved feeding the ducks and watching the ducklings paddle around together.

To finish our day, we enjoyed a picnic at the park followed by lots of fun playing on the equipment. It was a wonderful day full of fresh air, nature, exploration, and happy memories! 🌞🧺🌿

🏅 Sports Day fun! 🏅

Today we joined all of the Denmead childminders for a fantastic Sports Day! We absolutely love getting together, and it's such a wonderful opportunity for the children to make new friends, build confidence, and have fun together.

We took part in lots of exciting activities, including races, balancing challenges, the egg and spoon race, and so much more! 🥚🏃‍♀️

To finish off the fun, everyone enjoyed a well-earned ice pop together. 🍦☀️

We feel so lucky to be part of such a lovely community of childminders and to be able to create these special memories together. 💛

What an amazing day we had together! 🚆✨

This morning we drove to the train station before catching the train to Gunwharf Quays. The children were so excited! They loved waving to the train driver and proudly showing our tickets to the train guard.

Our big adventure was visiting the Spinnaker Tower. The children were incredibly brave. They were a little hesitant at first, but they soon built up their confidence and all had a turn walking across the famous glass floor. It was wonderful to see them encouraging each other and feeling so proud of themselves.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a picnic lunch in the park before finishing our special day with a visit to the Lindt shop, where each child chose a delicious chocolate treat to enjoy on the train journey home. 🍫

The children were exceptionally well behaved throughout the day, and I couldn't be prouder of every single one of them. It was a fantastic adventure filled with new experiences, confidence building, and lots of happy memories! ❤️

We had the best day together today! 🍓☀️

We met up with our friends at Pickwell Farm and picked our own strawberries. We carefully searched through the strawberry plants to find the biggest and juiciest ones. Of course, we had to taste a few along the way... that's the rule, isn't it? 😋

Afterwards, we discovered a new park, and it was absolutely amazing! We were so lucky to have the whole park to ourselves. It had everything we could possibly want, and we had so much fun exploring and playing together.

Today we had a lovely day together.

This morning, we played in the garden and made the most of the sunshine, enjoying plenty of fresh air and outdoor fun. ☀️🌿

Later, we went to Babycinnos and enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate together.

After school, we had a special party to celebrate two birthdays – one of our very big girls turning 4 years old and another very special little one celebrating their 1st birthday soon.

We all enjoyed some tasty cake, sang Happy Birthday, and had lots of fun celebrating together. It was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, smiles, laughter, and special memories. 🎂🎉🥳💕

Today we enjoyed a lovely trip to Southsea to make the most of the sunshine. We had a wonderful time spotting the swans, playing at the park, and enjoying a babyccino together.

We also took our special paint pens and decorated stones, which was a fantastic opportunity to explore colours and develop our mark-making skills in a fun and creative way. It was lovely to discover a new activity that encouraged creativity, colour recognition, and fine motor development while enjoying the outdoors.

🌟 Another fun-filled week of adventures and learning! 🌟
This week we got busy with some special Father's Day crafts, and the children worked so hard creating their surprise gifts. 💙

We enjoyed a lovely walk to The Coffee Cup where we met up with our friends from Stop and Play Childminding for babycinnos and lots of chats and giggles. ☕😊

We also had our monthly visit to Mini Town with our childminder friends, where the children enjoyed imaginative play, exploring, and socialising together. 🚒🏡

To round off the week, we visited Havant Garden Centre for some fun in the soft play area before treating ourselves to something delicious from The Bake House. 🍰✨

It's been another wonderful week full of creativity, friendships, play, and new experiences. We can't wait to see what next week brings!

This week, we enjoyed a trip to Play Daze, which is always a firm favourite with the children!

We also had lots of fun baking our own cookies. The children helped to roll out the dough and squash it down before the cookies were baked. They were very proud to take their homemade treats home to share with their families.

The children explored the kinetic sand, using a variety of objects to create different sandcastles and shapes. There was lots of imaginative play and creativity as they experimented with different ways to build and mould the sand.

Yet again, I've been a little rubbish at sharing our adventures!

May was a busy and exciting month. We celebrated a very special birthday, welcomed a new member to our little gang, enjoyed a fantastic day out at Moors Valley Country Park, and even took a trip on the train.
With the warmer weather arriving, we got the pool out and did our best not to melt! 😅
