Our full-day drop-off sessions return this September! 🌳

Looking for a regular outdoor learning experience for your home-educated child?

Our Forest Explorers sessions are back from Wednesday 9th September, offering children the chance to spend a full day immersed in our woodland environment, learning through exploration, play and practical experiences.

These are child-led Forest School sessions, where children have the freedom to follow their own interests, try new things, develop practical skills and build confidence in the outdoors. 🌿🔥

Throughout the day there are opportunities to:
🌳 Explore and discover the woodland
🔥 Learn practical outdoor and fire skills
🪵 Build, create and make
🐞 Discover and learn about nature
🎨 Get creative using natural materials
🤝 Develop independence, confidence and teamwork
🌿 Most importantly – have fun outdoors!

🌱 Want to see what we do first?

We're offering a taster day on Wednesday 9th September for families who would like to come along and experience Forest Explorers before committing to regular sessions.

It’s a great opportunity for children to meet us, explore the site, see how the sessions work and decide whether Forest Explorers is right for them.

🌿 Forest Explorers – Home Education Family Sessions 🌿

Family Home Education sessions are back!!

From Tuesday 15th September, we’ll be trialling a fortnightly parent & child session for three sessions, specifically for families who home educate.

These relaxed, child-led sessions are an opportunity to come along, spend time outdoors together and enjoy all the benefits of Forest School — with your grown-up joining in too! 🌳🔥

Aimed at children aged 5+ with their adult, with a limited number of younger siblings welcome too.

There’ll be plenty of opportunity to explore, play, build, create and learn together in our woodland space, with activities available for children to dip in and out of at their own pace. 🌿

☕ Snacks and drinks included
👨‍👩‍👧 £10 for one child + one adult, per session
🕧 12:45pm – 3:15pm
📅 Tuesday 15th September, 29th September & 13th October

Block booking only – the three sessions are booked together, giving families the opportunity to settle into the group and make the most of the trial.

This is a three-session trial, and if it proves popular, we’ll look at continuing the sessions beyond October.

🌿 NEW! Tuesday Forest Tots – Trial Sessions 🌿

We’re excited to be trying something new at Together We Forest School!

Our Friday Forest Tots sessions with Jaime will continue as usual, but we’re adding an extra Tuesday session to give families another opportunity to get outdoors, explore and enjoy some Forest School fun together.

From Tuesday 15th September, we’ll be trialling this new Tuesday session fortnightly for 3 weeks with Kathryn.

Forest Tots is a relaxed, child-led session where little ones can explore, play and discover at their own pace. There’ll be plenty of opportunities for nature play, messy activities, den building, crafts, stories and all the little adventures that make Forest School so special. 🌳🍂

There’s no pressure to join in with everything – children can follow their own interests, explore the woods and enjoy the freedom to play and learn in their own way.

🍃 Friday Forest Tots – continuing weekly
🍃 Tuesday Forest Tots – NEW additional session
🍃 Tuesday trial dates from 15th September
🍃 Fortnightly for 3 weeks

We’d love to see whether this additional weekday session is something our Forest Tots families would enjoy, so if Tuesdays work better for you, or you’d simply like another opportunity to get outside, come and join us! 💚

It's time for a well earned rest.

I'm taking a break for a few weeks while we head off on our adventures as a family.

There are lots of sessions all live on bookwhen ready for September including Forest Tots and Forest Explorers, Escape to the Woods, Wreath making and our weekend special.

I won't be answering messages or emails while I'm away but will come back to you as soon as I can when I'm back.
