Recovery is going well, and I’m looking forward to getting back to doing what I love very soon. Thank you to everyone who’s wished me well and been so supportive—it really has meant the world. ❤️‍🩹🌸

✨ The last couple of weeks in pictures ✨

We’ve packed so much into the last couple of weeks – exploring at the children’s museum, creating, playing, laughing, and making lots of lovely memories together. ❤️

From outdoor adventures and sensory experiences to creative activities and story times, the children have been learning through play every step of the way, supporting their development across the EYFS including Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.

It’s been a joy watching their confidence, curiosity, and friendships continue to grow. 🌱

It’s that time of year again when mini eggs are lining the supermarket shelves. But, did you know that, just like grapes, they are the perfect size to block a small child’s airway and choke them? And, their hard shell can make it difficult to dislodge with standard first aid techniques.

With whole grapes we advise cutting them in half lengthways and ideally into quarters to create thin strips. But chopping up mini eggs isn’t as easy. So, what can you do?

1. Hide them from the children and eat them yourself – good luck with that!

2. Break them into small pieces with a rolling pin. Or, crush them in a pestle and mortar. Or melt them a little first.

3. Opt for a different treat. Larger, hollow eggs are much safer for little ones.
