It only feels like yesterday you walked through our doors, and now you're getting ready to begin your next chapter at dance college and university.

It’s been an incredible day full of dancing, games, crafts, limbo, laughter and lots of summer fun! 🌺🦩✨

It was wonderful to see so many happy faces, new friendships being made and everyone’s confidence shining through. We are so proud of every single dancer who joined us and made today so special. 💛

🎉 Congratulations, Daisy! 🎭✨

What incredible news!

Not only has Daisy been offered a place to study for her Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre at MADD College, Nottingham, but she's also been awarded a highly sought-after DaDA (Dance and Drama Award) Scholarship! 🌟

These prestigious scholarships are only offered by a select number of elite performing arts schools, making this achievement even more special.

Daisy's hard work, talent, and dedication have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of everything she's achieved. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter! 💫

That’s a wrap on our Summer Showcase Day 2026! 🤍

What a fantastic day! We’re so proud of every single one of our dancers. Today our whole school, from our youngest dancers through to our seniors, took to the stage to share a little of what they’ve been working on over the last term.

What a special class we had yesterday! 🩶🤍✨

Our Dinky Dancers were so excited to welcome their parents into class to watch everything they've been working on this term. It was wonderful to see how much they've grown in confidence, developed their dance skills, and had so much fun along the way.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of our little dancers. Watching them perform with such big smiles and seeing the pride on their families' faces was truly heartwarming. 🌟

A huge well done to all our Dinky Dancers—you were amazing! We can't wait to enjoy our final two weeks together and see even more progress before we finish for the summer. ☀️💃

🏆 North Leicestershire Festival Round-Up 🏅

What an incredible festival weekend! 🌞🔥 The temperatures may have been soaring, but Team HHDC brought even more heat to the stage with outstanding performances from start to finish.

Our dancers performed with confidence, passion and determination, bringing home an amazing collection of medals and achievements.

🥉 Junior Cabaret Group – “Sailing” – 3rd Place
🥈 Junior Ballet Group – 2nd Place
🥈 Inter Ballet Group – 2nd Place
🥉Inter Canaret Group- 3rd Place
🥉 Senior Cabaret Troupes – 3rd Place in an incredibly competitive section of 19 dances!

We also had some fantastic individual successes, with several dancers receiving prestigious festival trophies:

🏆 Lily Clarke – Highest Mark Junior Novice
🏆 Lexi Contrairas – Highest Mark Senior Novice
🏆 Lottie Layton – Most Promising Junior
🏆 Sabina Bialek – Joint Highest Mark of the Festival with an outstanding 93 for her Modern Solo!

These results are a reflection of the commitment, hard work and dedication shown by every dancer throughout weeks of rehearsals, warm summer evenings in the studio, and long days competing at the festival.

We couldn’t be prouder of every single member of Team HHDC. Your talent, teamwork and love of dance shone through every performance. Here’s to celebrating these amazing achievements—and onto the next one! 🌟
