Casgliad o llus a phrynhawn braf iawn yn yr Alwen. Plant yn cyffroes i weld y mwsog mawr a bwyta'r llus. Roedd y grug yn hyfryd hefyd.



A good collection of bilberries this afternoon and a lovely afternoon at the Alwen. The children were very excited by the mounds of moss and eating bilberries! The heather was beautiful too.

After a 2 week break and family holiday we were back to it this week.
A mixed bag of weather and actually quite nice to have some rain! The playing out activities at were fun and of course there's lots to keep us busy in the garden at the moment, .

Bag cymysg o dywydd, ac mewn gwirionedd yn eithaf braf cael ychydig o law! Roedd y gweithgareddau chwarae allan yn yn hwyl, ac wrth gwrs mae digon i’n cadw’n brysur yn yr ardd ar hyn o bryd, .

With a bit of high tech equipment, Wild Rhythm took us on an immersive nature walk through Wepre Park listening to the sounds we don't usually hear.

Using the special equipment to pick up electrical impulses that are then transformed into music in our headphones we were able to listen to the slow, deep noises of the red wood tree or the lighter, faster sounds of the young oak leaves. We even heard the moss soaking up the rainwater using a very sensitive microphone.

A great experience for adults and children. Thank you Coram PACEY Cymru for organising.

One basket of elastic bands, two children, and endless possibilities.
Both exploring in completely different ways — one stretching and wrapping, the other loading and unloading.
That’s the beauty of loose parts: open‑ended, child‑led, curious play that grows with each child’s imagination.

A slow paced morning ramble. We spotted some ants moving around on a thistle, which captured our attention for a little while. Until we saw a gate that needed climbing!
