A New Academic Year Begins Tomorrow 💚

This evening, we were delighted to welcome our new and returning families to Myddelton College for our Welcome BBQ, bringing our community together ahead of the start of a new academic year.

The campus is ready. Classrooms are prepared, the boarding houses are ready to welcome pupils back, our sports facilities are set for another busy year, and plans are in place for another year of learning, opportunity and enrichment.

For some of our pupils, tomorrow will be their very first day at Myddelton. For others, it marks the return to a familiar community, familiar faces and another year of new experiences, friendships and opportunities.

There is always something special about the beginning of a new school year — the anticipation, the excitement and the sense of possibility that comes with a fresh start.

We are looking forward to seeing our campus come to life once again and welcoming all of our pupils through the doors tomorrow.

Welcome Back to Boarding 💚

The rooms are ready, the common spaces are ready and the activities are planned. After the summer break, our boarding community is officially back on campus and ready for another year at Myddelton College.

Today marks the beginning of another year filled with new friendships, new experiences, exciting opportunities and plenty of memories to make along the way. From evenings spent together in the boarding houses to activities, trips and everyday moments with friends, there is always plenty happening beyond the classroom.

We’re especially pleased to welcome our new boarders as they settle into their new home, meet new friends and become part of the Myddelton community.

To our returning boarders, it’s wonderful to have you back. We hope you’ve had a fantastic summer and are ready for everything the year ahead has to offer.

National Swimming Success 🏊‍♀️

What an incredible few days for Bella, who recently competed across four days of racing at the National Pool in Swansea, taking on some of the best young swimmers in the country.

At just 11 years old, Bella was competing in the 12 year old category, making her performances even more impressive.

Across 8 races, Bella achieved an incredible 5 Long Course Personal Bests, with her other three races also finishing close to her existing PBs.

Her 400m Freestyle was a particular highlight, with Bella taking an incredible 26 seconds off her Long Course PB to finish 4th in Wales for her age group.

Even more impressively, her 200m Freestyle result placed her 1st in Wales for her age! 🏆

A fantastic achievement and a brilliant reflection of Bella’s hard work, determination and commitment to swimming. We are incredibly proud of her and can’t wait to see what she achieves next! 💚

The New School Year Is Almost Here! 💚

The summer holidays are nearly over, and we’re getting ready to welcome everyone back to Myddelton College!

Our boarders return on Wednesday 2nd September, with our Welcome BBQ taking place that evening, before we welcome all pupils back for the first day of school on Thursday 3rd September.

We’re especially looking forward to meeting all of our new pupils and families, as well as seeing familiar faces back on campus. There’s lots to look forward to this year, and we can’t wait to get started.

Ready for the New School Year? 💚

September is just around the corner, and we’re getting ready to welcome our pupils back for another exciting year at Myddelton College.

The start of a new school year can be busy, especially after the summer break, so we’ve put together a few simple reminders to help pupils and families feel prepared for the first day back.

From checking your uniform and making sure your device is fully charged, to remembering your phone pouch and keeping up to date with important school information, taking a few minutes to get organised now can make all the difference when September arrives.

What day is it? October 3rd. 🩷

We think it might just become our new favourite day.

Our Myddelton College Open Day takes place on Saturday 3rd October, and we’d love to welcome families to our campus in Denbigh.

An Open Day is the perfect opportunity to experience Myddelton for yourself. Explore our 37.5 acre campus, visit our classrooms and specialist facilities, meet our teachers and discover the many opportunities available to pupils from ages 3–18.

From academic learning and Sixth Form through to sport, Outdoor Learning, equestrian and our wider enrichment programme, there is plenty to discover. You’ll also have the chance to learn more about our boarding community and the pastoral support that helps pupils feel known, supported and confident throughout their time with us.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore your options or already considering Myddelton for September, we’d be delighted to meet you, answer your questions and show you what makes our school different.

A Fresh Start for Myddelton Equestrian 🐴

There’s an exciting new chapter ahead for Myddelton Equestrian, with a fantastic refresh of our stables and wider facilities ready for the new academic year.

Renovations across the equestrian centre have created an improved environment for both pupils and horses, with refreshed stable spaces and updates throughout the facility.

Alongside our newly appointed Equestrian Manager, Miss J.Howard, the refreshed centre is ready to welcome riders and their horses for an exciting year ahead.

Whether pupils are experienced riders or looking to develop their skills, Myddelton Equestrian offers opportunities to get involved across a range of disciplines.

Behind the Scenes in Manchester 🏟️

Our Summer Camp pupils enjoyed a fantastic day exploring Manchester Stadium, with a behind the scenes tour giving them the chance to discover areas usually hidden from the public.

From exploring the facilities to seeing what goes on behind the scenes at a major sporting venue, it was a brilliant opportunity to experience the stadium from a whole new perspective.
