☆☆☆ What have you achieved this week? ☆☆☆

As we wave week 10 of 52 goodbye 👋🏾 it feels like a good time to review any progress you have made towards your 2021 finance goals over the last 7 days.

For us, one of the things we have both spent time focusing on is maximising the cash generated from our various multiple streams of income.

We're refusing to despise our modest start. As Job 8:7 says "Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be." [NIV]

As such, we're encouraged to begin picking up the momentum in this area of our finances, knowing that despite the small start, the end will be great.

1 month down, 11 more to go. How has your start to the year gone? We've make a great start and are on track to getting our finances to where we want to in 2021.

■ We saved 15% of our January income towards planned and unplanned expenses
■ We invested 17% of our January income in through two different channels
■ We stuck to our budget between being the UK, then travelling and living abroad for over half the month
■ We gave through tithe, offering & first fruit to our local church
■ ...and so much more !

Remember to check in to keep yourself focused on your journey this year.

We got paid yesterday and on the back of that, had our monthly budget meeting to plan for the month ahead

This is how February is looking for us and we're feeling good about it 😁😎

Last year, we were intentional with clearing all of our bank, store and credit card debt - which we were successful in doing and now we're reaping the benefits by being able to regain our savings rate of at least 30% each month 🥳

We have allocated more for giving due paying a first fruit offering with our January pay (on top of tithe & offering).
