Our next meeting is on Tuesday, 19th May 2026, at Defford Village Hall from 10am - 12pm. We are running an In-house Workshop to make a hand-embroidered photo frame (3"x4"). Please bring the following supplies if you would like to take part:

Basic sewing kit, including a sharp embroidery needle
Small scissors
Selection of Embroidery/Perle Threads
Embellishments such as seed beads and sequins

The felt will be provided.

Visitors are more than welcome, for which we charge a fee of £5. Please bring a mug for refreshments.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, April 21st, from 10am - 12pm at Defford Village Hall, WR8 9BL.

We are excited to announce that our guest speaker for this month is the local textile artist Shelly Faye Lasser. Colour is her passion, and scarves are the canvas on which she plays. She uses fabrics and thread to express mood, movement, and texture. She thinks of her scarves as jewellery to be worn, used and loved.

If you are already a member, please remember to bring along your membership fee of £25 (in cash only) for the year. Guests are more than welcome - fee £5. Please bring your own mug for refreshments.

On the 15th of October at Defford Village Hall 10am - 12pm, we will be joined by the lovely people from Makerss from Nailsea, Glos. for a talk and demonstration on all things related to needle felting. They will also be bringing along a selection of goodies to purchase, so don't forget your purses.

We are a very friendly group and non-members are more than welcome to join us for a fee of £3. Please bring your own mug for refreshments. We look forward to seeing you.

On Tuesday 17th September 2024 at Defford Village Hall 10am - 12pm we are looking forward to welcoming local artist Jane Arthur to our group to give a talk entitled 'My Stitching Journey'. Jane is a landscape artist working in mixed media, collage and textiles and trips to Antarctica have been a major influence.

We are a friendly group and guests are more than welcome, for which there is a charge of £3.

On Tuesday 18th June Pershore Embroiderers will be welcoming local milliner Bobbi Heath to give a talk entitled "The Mad Hatter".
