My name is Sally and before becoming a childminder I worked as a Food and Textile teacher in secondary education for 18 years as well as working within the home education sector, being part of a private home education company for 2 years, assessing and internally quality assuring learners work within the creative crafts from primary aged students and above. I am a mum to 2 children and learnt firs

t hand how having a supportive and caring childminder to help when returning to work or just needing some ‘you’ time is vitally important. I loved my time bringing up my 2 and really believe that a nurturing and stimulating environment develops confident little ones! My ethos is kindness and going out exploring and learning about the world around us. Activities will include:

-visiting the beach
-woodland walks
-going to play parks
-picnicking out
-messy play
-home-based activities and play
-socialising with other childminders and at playgroups


I am Ofsted registered and hold qualifications in:
-Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare (HBCA). HBCA is a regulated qualification (officially recognised) and covers the Early Years Foundation (learning, development and care).
-Paediatric first aid course
-Level 2 hygiene
-Safeguarding
-Qualified Teacher Status
