π Our topic term 6 is 'Place to visit', where we will focus on a different place every two weeks - starting off with cafΓ©s βοΈπ°. We have created our own 'Busy Bee's CafΓ©' for the children to role-play ordering from the menu and serving food. Our focus story is 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' π

Last week we practised spreading as we made jam sandwiches, collaged to decorate a cupcake and enjoyed pretend play picnics in the garden π₯ͺπ§π§Ί. We practised our patterns, identifying and continuing them, as well as making our own using manipulatives. Finally we created symmetrical butterflies by painting, folding and printing - these have been used to decorate our display board for this term π¦.
Our characteristic of effective learning focus in Playing and Exploring has been acting out experiences with other people. Within Active Learning, maintaining focus on an activity for a period of time, and in Thinking Critically developing ideas of sequences.
