Another A-level results day, another classic from Jeremy Clarkson. 😂

For more than a decade now, Clarkson has turned results morning into something of an annual tradition: remind everyone that he left school with a C and two Us, then casually mention whatever absurdly comfortable thing he's doing with his life. Previous editions have involved superyachts, Range Rovers, Bentleys, villas, a brewery, his pub and even installing lights for a helicopter landing pad.

And right on cue, he's back for 2026. This year's reassurance for anyone staring unhappily at their grades is that he'll be spending the evening in his “agreeable garden”, drinking beer from his own brewery and eating food from his own farm — prepared by his own chef.

It is, of course, an enormous Clarkson-style humblebrag, but buried underneath the joke is a decent message: disappointing exam results can feel catastrophic when you're 18, but they don't necessarily decide what the next 40 or 50 years of your life will look like.

At this point, A-level results day wouldn't feel quite the same without Clarkson popping up to remind Britain, once again, that he got a C and two Us. 😂
