I am off on holiday (again, I know!) after three weeks of productive work.

I am back on Monday 31st August and I start back teaching on Tuesday 1st September.

I still have some spaces in some classes (especially year 2) for a September start so do get in touch and I will get back to you.

Over the course of a year I teach about 400 lessons that I have created whiteboard questions and activities for.

Each lesson has about 10 questions so that is 4,000 different questions to be created.

I have been doing this for over a year now - but nearly finished.

I have 4 classes that are full.

8 classes only have 1 or 2 spaces.

4 classes have more than 2 spaces.

This is exactly how I teach in my lessons. It really works.

The idea of skills compounding over time is important. My lessons are carefully designed to that this happens in a planned way.

It does take time though.

Some lovely comments from one of my overseas parents here.

Your classes really help children build strong fundamentals by focusing on the basic principles. Personally, I find this approach very valuable, because it allows kids to truly understand the concepts rather than just rushing to get the right answer. This is especially important for younger children, as it sets a solid foundation for their future learning.

I know that not every parent here (Hong Kong) shares this perspective, since many prefer a faster pace or exam-driven style. But I believe your method encourages deeper thinking and confidence. 🫡
