Introducing… SHELLEY ANN🌟

My name is Shelley Ann and I’m a freelance UK choreographer and Director of ‘The Shelley Ann Dance Company’.

From as young as 9 years old I always knew I wanted a career in dance.
I trained at Jelli Studios Theatre Arts College and throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of knowledge from industry professionals as well as competitive & performance experience.

I have 12 years of teaching experience, from successful theatre productions to competition pieces, winning choreography awards. I am very fortunate to work with aspiring dancers from schools all over the UK. As well as workshops I also teach sell-out Master classes at dance conventions such as MOVEIT and The Super Weekender.

My classes are to educate and inspire.
It is my belief that, as well as technical training, the encouragement of a healthy mindset within dance can prepare aspiring dancers for the industry.

Summer Camp Faculty Announcement Number SIX…

Introducing… JOSHUA FREEMAN🌟

Joshua-Samuel Freeman is a performer, educator, and model originally from Northamptonshire & has been teaching our Lyrical and tech class on Thursdays here at Syndicate.

After three years of Theatre training at The Urdang Academy in London, Joshua graduated in 2021. Now 24, he has built a strong and versatile career, performing across stage and screen internationally.

Joshua is currently based in London and appearing in the new revival of “CATS” the musical ROAT (London) & UK/Ireland Tour as the role of Tumblebrutus/Bill Bailey.

Alongside performing, Joshua is currently completing a Master’s in Dance Research at The Rambert School of ballet and contemporary (Accredited by The Royal College of Music) having just completed his first year and soon to be starting his second he is hoping to blend the two worlds of performance and his pedagogical practice for a sustainable and versatile future in the arts.

Some of Joshua’s notable screen credits include:

Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream (ITV/Thames & Fremantle, 2023) – featured dancer, live from the Novello Theatre, choreographed by Anthony Van Laast and Nicola Treherne.
Here and Now – Live with Steps for Britain’s Got Talent semi-final 2025 – ensemble, choreographed by Matt Cole and Jane McMurtrie at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Britain’s Got Talent (Season 15, 2021) – semi-finalist with the DBC group, performing live at the Palladium and Hammersmith Apollo, choreographed by Dane Bates and creatively directed by Elizabeth Honan.

Music Videos:
Joshua has performed for major artists including Sam Smith (Kids Again, 2021, dir. Alasdair McLellan), Nemo (Eurostar, Eurovision Winner 2024), JOSEF JOSEF (2023), and more.

Theatre:
Where Eagles Fly (Full-Scale Musical Workshop, 2025) – Ensemble, directed by James Grieve MBE and choreographed by Pippa Holliday, casting by Anne Vosser.
The World of Musicals – In Concert Tours (2022–2024) – Ensemble member in New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland for GFD Promotions/Rokitz Entertainment, choreographed by Pippa Holliday with musical direction by Claire Crehan.

Sleeping beauty - Pantomime
At the Assembly Hall in Royal Tunbridge Wells produced by Little wolf productions (2025) as featured ensemble member.
Directed by Hannah Chiswick Choreographed by Phillip Michael Thomas and musical supervision by David Randall.

Award Shows:
The British Fashion Awards (BFAs) – red carpet appearance with host Billy Porter for Richard Quinn.
The Wave Awards for Fred Olsen Cruise Lines (Bolette cast for POPUP Entertainment).
The National Reality Television Awards – performed the winning number with DBC group, winners of Best Performance in a Reality TV Show.

Additional Credits:
Dance captain and company manager for DOHA quest Eid celebration createst show in Qatar 2026.
Featured dancer for POPUP Global x Evolution Events at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi “Winterfest”and the Formula 1 Grand Prix – Ferrari Fanzone (2024).
Two covers and insert in POP Magazine, Volume 45, photographed by Alasdair McLellan for Balenciaga.
Film/TV movement & background work includes Beetlejuice 2 (Warner Bros), Masters of the Air(Apple TV), The Sandman (Netflix), GWED season 3 (ITV) and more, appearing as a SPACT, stand-in, movement artist, dancer and extra.

He teaches across England in Acro, Jazz, Contemporary, and more - dedicated to inspiring the next generation of young performers, reigniting the spark in those that wish to start dancing again and guiding pre professionals on there journeys into the arts safely,Happily and securely.

Introducing… JOE DUBAS🌟

Joe is a in demand freelance dance teacher/choreographer and adjudicator. He teaches various workshops/classes for dance schools, colleges and other events/conventions and associate programs across the UK.

He specializes in commercial, lyrical and Jazz. He has taught and adjudicated at popular dance championships, festivals and conventions.

Joe creates choreography for various shows, events and big competitions that take place across the globe. Joe has created his own concept videos and also has his own JAD Collective dance group. Joe is looking forward to dance with you all

Introducing… MADDIE-ROSE🌟

Hi everyone, I’m Maddie. I am a Dance Teacher and Choreographer based in Oxfordshire. I work at ‘Danielle Buick Academy of Theatre Arts’, teaching lessons, choreographing and providing training for the competition team. I also run workshops throughout the year under ‘Maddie-Rose Choreography’. I have always had a passion for working with others, sharing my knowledge and building dancers confidence and skill set. I absolutely love my job and am so excited to share a studio with you all. I can’t wait to meet you!

Hi I’m Oscar,

I am currently training at Addict Dance Academy and have been for the past 3 years, alongside my own training, I have always had a passion for teaching and choreographing, and I love helping dancers grow in both confidence and style. Introducing… OUR LOVELY MISS KARLA HEAD🌟

Karla is currently training at Addict Dance Academy completing her 2nd year BTEC level 3 qualification in which she will also be staying there for the degree course for a further 3 years. She receives full time training from industry professionals in which she can then use to inspire others.

She has previously trained with us at Syndicate starting from the age of 9 in which she then became a member of our faculty choreographing routines for competitions, shows, Disneyland Paris etc. She had had the opportunity to perform on stages such as The O2, His Majesty’s Theatre, Disney Land Paris, Sadlers Wells, CYD? and many more.

Karla can’t wait to come back and teach you all, eager to spread her knowledge that she has developed in her years of training in the performing arts industry.
