My community band 'BLUFUNK' are now looking for a new-

Drummer
Guitarist
Trumpet player
Alto sax or tenor sax

We practice weekly, play open mics and gigs.

We would be ideal for musicians if-

1. You want experience playing with other musicians in a band situation.

2. You haven't played for ages and want to get back into it.

3. You want to learn about band arrangements, gig etiquette and all things 'being in a band'

4. You want to try something different musically to what you have always played. The songs that we play all 'groove' and that's the theme that runs through our set list. Think pop, funk, jazz and blues... do you fancy trying something different?

Finally we are mixed age, mixed ability and against prejudice of ALL kinds. We are a friendly bunch!!

I will be taking my community band Blufunk to this event on Sunday afternoon. We are due to start at 1pm until around 3pm.
Bring the kids, bring their bikes and spend the afternoon at Gisburn Forest - an area of outstanding natural beauty!

Blufunk are now looking for a new guitarist if anyone fancies joining this great bunch of people! We rehearse 3/4 times a month and try to do a performance or open mic session once a month as well.

The focus is on developing our own musicianship, becoming better musicians, performing with others and learning to play in a team. Educational and fun as well!

I teach guitar and bass and drums (beginners) and run workshops and a community band. If you are looking for instrumental lessons then send me a message, I am happy to help and can arrange vocal, wind, brass and piano/keys lessons also.

I have been the musical director of 'Blufunk Syndicate' community band for a number of years now. Recently the band lost it's subsidy as part of 'Ribble Valley Jazz & Blues' so we have decided to continue the band and run it independently.

We are currently looking for new members in particular-

Sax/trumpet players and we have room for another guitarist and possibly a percussionist.

Have a read of the post which tells you a little bit about the band. There is a fee for the rehearsals/sessions but we keep the fees down as much as possible.
If anyone can share this around East Lancs/Ribble Valley then it would be appreciated. It's a good thing that we do and it needs to keep going!
