💚 J O B O P E N I N G 💚
Due to the high numbers of families wishing to attend our nursery, we are seeking a Qualified Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner to join our incredible team.

~ Monday to Friday, varying shifts between 7.30am – 6pm, representing 40 - 42.5 hours per week. No term time only positions are available
~ Salary : Above National living wage
~ DBS on the update service essential but can be reapplied for if the successful candidates has lapsed
~ First Aid certificate essential but the successful candidate can be re-trained if current certification has expired
~ All other essential training including Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, prevent duty etc can be obtained once the successful candidate starts
~ Complying with the DFE legal safeguarding statutory requirements, 2 satisfactory references (one from your most recent employer) essential and non-negotiable to enable the successful candidate to be considered for the role
~ Ongoing training to enhance your knowledge and qualifications in Early Years
~ You must have full knowledge of the EYFS and experience as a key person who is able to implement our curriculum and are looking for the next step in your early years journey. More than anything, you must be passionate, flexible, loyal, keen to learn more and a team player.

Additionally, you must have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special and be able to distribute warm hugs as required. You must have a little bit of quirkiness, if a child requests that you be a princess or captain of a pirate ship, in front of a crowd, you will be the best fairy-tail princess or pirate captain you can be! You must have the ability to read a storybook, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page and still be engaging. You must have an understanding that the little people you have a strong relationship with during the week, may completely and utterly refuse to talk to or even acknowledge you when they see you at the local supermarket. Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one.

We have been very busy over the last few weeks by celebrating Chinese New Year, learning about space, welcoming Spring by having 3 baby chicks visiting us for a few days, taking part in an egg hunt and enjoying playing together outside 💚

Look who came to see us yesterday! The PCSOs spoke to us about their very important job, vehicles, police horses and dogs, what emergencies are and who to ring, and then we got to try on the special police uniforms! We then went outside to see and sit in the Police car 🚓💚
