Last week, East Lancashire Hospice visited school to reveal the grand total raised from the 'Hop, Skip & Jump' event that we held in school last month. We raised an amazing £2088.50!

Yesterday, our Year 1 students stepped back in time to experience a day as Victorian school children! 🕰️
They loved:
• Writing with chalk on slate 📝
• Chanting times tables in unison 🔢
• Drills during physical training (P.T.) 🏃‍♂️

They didn't like:
• Super strict teachers! 🤫
• Hearing about terrifying historical punishments! 😮
Don't worry, parents—no children were actually harmed during our time travel experiment! Everyone survived the strict discipline and had a fantastic day learning how much school has changed.
