One of the best things about being an educator is observing the amazing way in which many children take their learning back home with them.

I was so proud and honoured to have the Little Potting Club included in little β€˜M’s’ work.

His art work that he had completed at nursery displays a veg bed.

Not only has he took his learning to develop a piece of amazing art work . He captured all the stages of growth. From bare soil to a brightly green fully grown veg bed.

He even added a fence. 🀩

I am over the moon and this has to be the cutest piece of art work.

Thank you little β€˜M’ for sharing your art work and taking inspiration from gardening at the LPC.

Hello again,

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61577238750044

Okay so I am not tech savvy.
Nor do I know how to navigate social media.
But instead of turning Curious Owls page into the Little Potting Clubs I have just made a separate page.

So I am sharing and asking my followers to pop along to our clubs new page.
Please come along to a new childrens & family gardening, nature clubs social media page.

I will be trying to link in an Instagram page as well as a website, so please bear with me while I work on this in the background.

The LPC would love to welcome you over at our new page.
See you there guys.
And happy gardening πŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎ

Lots of gardeing to catch up at the Little Potting Club, after our busy session with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust last week.

We planted out veggie plants such as dwarf beans, corn, Roma cabbage and spinach.
We even had time to weave twine on the dwarf beans tripod and wash pots to keep them clean and tidy.

What veg did you take home today?
We had a lovely harvest of radish, lettuce, rocket, kale today also. πŸ₯¬

It was a wet one but being summer rain we didn’t mind at all. β˜”οΈ

We are open for all to join in no matter where you live in the borough. Supporting families throughout Darwen with gardening and nature activities.
