📸 🤩 A huge congratulations to both the Yr 3/4 and the Yr 5/6 Quadkids Athletics teams who both achieved 1st place 🥇(and gold medals) in the recent competition at Witton Park against other schools 💫. This means that both teams will now go on to represent Blackburn with Darwen in the Lancashire finals in Blackpool 👏🏻 ☺️

1N had a lovely first session at forest school. Thankfully the rain stayed away but we still seemed to find all the mud and puddles left behind! Lots of smiling faces and wonderful behaviour!

Year 2 finalists are ready to battle it out in the final of our Spelling Bee competition. Good luck everybody!

We are SO incredibly proud of our amazing netballers!!! Another rainy netball night but our team still managed to go and win both of their matches.
Every member of the team has been phenomenal over the last few weeks and you should all be so proud of the progress you have made and how you have come together as a team. Always playing with great skill, respect, sportsmanship and resilience! Well done!🌟🌟🌟🌟

🎵🎹 A HUGE well done to our 3 very talented pianists who performed brilliantly at a music concert at St Silas Church this afternoon.

Grayson, Ryan and Ethan all performed with confidence and style and really did steal the show 😎

We are super proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait for them to treat the school to more outstanding performances in weeks to come. Well done lads 🤩

Year 1 have started to learn about the architect, Zaha Hadid. We have experimented making curves and waves in our sketching.

2P have had a wonderful day at Brockholes Nature Reserve and even managed to dodge the rain. They have had lots of fun making pictures from items found in nature, made clay tree spirits, made leaf pictures, made dens and learnt how to make a fire safely using a flint.
