We were incredibly proud of our pupil leaders yesterday afternoon as they attended a local pupil leadership event.

The children spoke brilliantly about the different leadership roles they hold within our school and the positive impact they have had. They also had the opportunity to hear from children in other local schools about the leadership opportunities they have in their settings.

It was an inspiring afternoon and our children represented Stoke Fleming Primary School superbly. We are so proud of the confidence, maturity and enthusiasm they showed.

📸 What a fantastic day of learning in Class Explorer!

We were delighted to welcome Julian from Brick Ideas into school, who arrived with a mountain of LEGO and inspired the children through a brilliant hands-on workshop linked to the Industrial Revolution and the work of the famous engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Working collaboratively, they designed and built their own trains and bridges using LEGO, demonstrating impressive creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Julian for such an engaging and memorable day! 🚂🌉🧱

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 children, who completed their SATs this week with outstanding determination, resilience and maturity.

Over the past months, they have worked exceptionally hard, showing a fantastic attitude and a real commitment to doing their very best. Throughout the week, they approached each test with confidence and focus, and they should all be immensely proud of what they have achieved.

Well done, Year 6 – you have been an absolute credit to yourselves, your families and our school! 🌟📚✏️

A huge well done to our talented children who represented us at the Dartmouth Music Festival! 🎶⭐

They performed brilliantly and were a real credit to our school, demonstrating confidence and teamwork. Taking part in events like this gives our children the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, build their self-belief and create memories that will stay with them for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and would like to thank our staff and families for their support in making opportunities like this possible.

Our school librarians have been hard at work adding a fantastic collection of brand-new books to our library shelves! 📚✨

These wonderful new books were purchased thanks to the money raised through our recent Readathon and Book Fair, organised by the Friends of Stoke Fleming School. This is just a small sample of the hundreds of books that arrived this week, helping us to refresh and expand our library so that all of our children can discover new stories and develop a lifelong love of reading.

A huge thank you to the Friends of Stoke Fleming School for their continued generosity and support, and to our dedicated librarians for all their hard work in unpacking, sorting and organising the books ready for everyone to enjoy.

We can’t wait to see the children exploring these fantastic new additions! 📖❤️
