Understudy project ✅
Our Acting pathway absolutely smashed their understudy project yesterday!
They performed the Play ‘Shakers’ with their original cast, names were then pulled out of a hat as to who they would play in the next performance and with only 5 minutes to prepare they were on stage in their new role🔥

Finishing our amazing term of workshops with the incredible Khalid Daley - and having just come out of the West End cast of Hamilton playing the dual role of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton, he brought a bit of it to us! We will see Khalid soon in ‘The Great War’, a new documentary drama for the History Channel playing the major role of WWI American war hero Henry Johnson.
His credits include: War Horse (UK and International Tour), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (UK & Ireland Tour) and Dick Whittington (National Theatre) as well as playing the leading role of Clyde in Careen - The True History of Bonnie and Clyde (Birmingham Repertory Theatre).
We had a blast and we can't wait to have you back at RPA!

This week we had a delightful workshop with Jacob McIntosh!
His credits include Kinky Boots (UK Tour), Hairspray (Crewe Lyceum), Aladdin (Grove Theatre), and Sleeping Beauty (Churchill Theatre). Jacob will be also performing in Book of Mormon at The Prince Of Wales Theatre London this autumn!

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming back the incredibly talented performer and choreographer Gracie Marie Stiling, who has credits such as: P&O Cruises Australia with Grayboy Entertainment, ELF the Musical (UK Tour) and the Whitney and Tina concert shows 'Queen of the Night' and ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It' for Live Nation.
She brought the energy, we loved it! Thank you so much Gracie!

We joined forces with Vibe Arts and we’ve prepared an incredible week that will give you a taste of musical theatre!

On Thursday 18th May we present Big Expo and Big Play as a stunning double bill, beginning at 7.30pm. Get ready for The Secret Garden and Zero For the Young Dudes!, performed by our Dance and Acting pathways - you do not want to miss out! For £15/£13 concessions you can see both pieces (and enjoy a themed cocktail, maybe?)
On Friday 19th May we present Big Musical - The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, performed by our Musical Theatre pathway and kicking off at 7.45pm. Entry to the bee is £15/£13 concessions, and you might even be asked to spell... 👀
