Childminder based in Dartford. Seeking to recruit 2 more assistants to start ASAP, subject to references, a full DBS check and a 2 day Paediatric First Aid Course.

We are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am to 6.30pm (staff start at 7.30am) Open all year round as we offer holiday care too. We are a busy setting caring for up to 9 children under 5 per day and can collect up to 15 children after school. The main childminder works with 2 assistants at all times.

Requirements

‪* Experience of working with children is desirable, it is however important you enjoy loving and caring for children
‪*Be reliable and punctual
‪* Have enthusiasm and confidence to play
‪*Willing to learn about relevant polices/codes of practice/legislation
*‪Ability to organise and motivate yourself and others
‪*Ability to relate well to children and adults
‪*Work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities and your own position
*‪Caring, adaptable and understanding
‪* To take reasonable care of themselves and other persons who may be affected by the acts or omissions at work.
‪*To co-operate with employer, being flexible and understanding as job description will include duties similar to a "Mothers Help" and "Household cleaner"
*To be able to do domestic cleaning
*Be able to follow weekly activity planning
*To communicate with parents and carers
*Always maintain safety of all children, staff and parents and carers.
*Willing to complete online or in house training
‪Security
*All employees are required to remain vigilant on the premises and to report security issues to the Manager.

‪The successful candidate will possess: -

‪Hard work ethic and a commitment to giving children a safe environment to play.

Job Type: Temp/Perm contract

Job Types: Part-Time to full time

Salary: £589.34 per month based on 16 hours per week - opportunity to increase hours in future... £8.50 per hour. Also would consider less hours - job share
