Swanley park today

2 little ones took a keen interest in planets today. While I was pushing them on the swing we spoke about swinging high to the moon and the stars and the planets. They asked what is a planet? I explained we live on a planet called Earth. They asked what's the other planets? I told them all of them and they repeated back to me. I then said some other planets have lots of moons and we only have one. We got home and I printed planet colouring pages. We had a look at what colour each planet was and they copied them. They were also amazed that the sun is in fact the biggest star 🌟 such curious children

We took a round trip on the train! The children absolutely LOVED it ❤️

We had a very relaxing morning before we headed out for the day

We finished the day with a walk around the orangery then a stop in the book shop to read some stories

We then walked around the castle completing an animal trail too. There is an original bed and bed linen from 350 years ago in the kings room. The decor was so stunning.. will definitely be returning

We carefully walked all the way to the top of the gatehouse, stopping at all the levels to look at a bedroom and music room. The children took particular interest in the grammaphone
