Windmill Nursery

We are currently completing our intake for September 2026. If you would like to view our nursery or ask us any questions about our admission procedure please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can accept children from 2 years and 10 months.

We had a great time learning about the Chinese New Year and exploring how the years became named after animals. We enjoyed being the dragon and moving around the nursery in different ways being the body of the dragon

This term the children have had a wealth of new experiences. We had the full coffee shop experience where the children made their own winter warming hot chocolates. We extended our language and number skills and nurtured our cultural capital offering new experiences to some of our children. We played co-operatively and worked together to “serve our customers”.

We would like to wish all our windmill families a wonderful Christmas break. Thank you as always for your generous cards and gifts. Sue would like to pass her thanks for all your warm wishes, gifts and cards for her retirement. We look forward to seeing you all back on Monday 5th January x

We will be holding our Christmas fundraising cake sale in nursery next week, we would be grateful for any donations on Monday 8th, homemade or shop brought. Thank you, as always for supporting our nursery. X

Another fun and successful sports day. Thank you to all our windmill families for your support as always. Thank you for allowing us to spend time with your amazing children. Thank you for your generosity for all the lovely cards and gifts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To all our friends going to school in September, we wish you the best of luck, carry on being amazing and have a great time. To our friends who are lucky enough to come back to us in September, we can’t wait to see you again.

New children’s day is Monday 1st September and term 1 starts on Tuesday 2nd September.
