𝕊𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕣 𝔼𝕩𝕡𝕝𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 🍉

Lots more outdoor exploring this week, we went to the woods, following a trail, discovering hidden areas 🌳 We made mud pies in the kitchen and have been looking after our fruit and veg 🍓 The little ones had a great time bowling 🎳 supporting and helping each other.

𝕊𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕣 𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖 𝔸𝕕𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕖𝕤 🌸

Another wonderful summer week complete ✅ Spent out on adventures with our little friends. We have followed trails and found hidden fairy doors🧚 Used our nets in the river to catch fish and other water insects 🦟 Worked as a team to create a den to hide out in using long logs ⛺️ made some beaded bracelets to take home and made the best memories 💕

𝕊𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕖𝕣 𝔽𝕦𝕟 ☀️

The summer holidays are in full swing and we are enjoying every minute of it ☀️
We’ve been keeping cool in the garden, cooking up a storm in the mud kitchen and splashing 💦 about with the mermaids.
We’ve enjoyed a few picnics in the park already 🧺 and joined in solving riddles and following clues to find the lost jewels on a quest 🐉

𝕄𝕖𝕣𝕞𝕒𝕚𝕕 𝕊𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕙 🧜‍♀️

Carrying on our water theme this week 💦 We had fun exploring the ocean, reading books and discovering what types of creatures that live there 🐠 We used tweezers and a magnifying glass to discover creatures in the rock pool and matched them to the fact file! We used the coins and shells to make some fun prints in the playdough 🐚 And everyone had a splashing time with the mermaids at the pool party 🧜

𝔸𝕙𝕠𝕪 𝕞𝕖 𝕞𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕖𝕤 🏴‍☠️

Last week we set sail with the pirates 🌊 on a swashbuckling adventure! We uncovered buried treasure 🪎 following the trail on the maps we had made 🗺️ We counted coins, talked about bigger and smaller and used the tweezers to transfer. At the end of the week, we made ships and decorated the sails to take home ⚓️

𝕊𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔽𝕦𝕟 💦

Phew! What a warm week it has been ☀️ Our focus has been to stay safe and cool in the sun with lots and lots of water play 💦 Giving our dollies a bath with bubbles 🫧 scooping and mixing making petal potions 🌺 cleaning the muddy diggers 🧼 cutting and snipping to make some yummy crafts and cooling off with a refreshing ice pole🍦

Last week our little ones made some wonderful gifts to take home for Father Day 👨🏼 They put a lot of effort into cutting, painting and sticking to create something special ✨ We read a lovely story called ‘MY DAD’ By Anthony Browne, which everyone enjoyed and talked about our daddy’s, and what makes them special 💕

H𝕒𝕝𝕗 T𝕖𝕣𝕞 A𝕕𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕖𝕤 🌳

What an amazing half term week we’ve had in the sun ☀️ Our little ones loved the pond dipping where we caught some interesting water insects 🦟 and were able to find out more about them. We cooled down with a paddle in the country park river 🌳 enjoying looking for fish. We also built a den to hide in and made leaf kebabs 🍃 We all loved having an ice pole treat at the end of the week 🧊

𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕 𝔹𝕖𝕖 𝔻𝕒𝕪 🐝

Happy World Bee Day 🐝 We explored the world of bees this week, spreading some wildflower seeds in the garden to help and encourage more pollinators 🌺 We are lucky enough to have some leaf cutter bees in the garden 🍃 the little ones were fascinated watching them leave perfect little circles! We made some cute honeycomb pictures 🍯 to take home, using bubble wrap for the print

L𝕚𝕗𝕖 C𝕪𝕔𝕝𝕖𝕤 🦋

We are still learning lots from our minibeast topic, we found some insects in our bug hotel 🐞 and were able to study them.
We have been learning about life cycles and how some insects undergo metamorphosis 🦋 We had fun feeding the ‘Hungry Caterpillar’ all the healthy foods 🐛 and making some caterpillar pictures.
