Somehow it's October already! We hope you've all settled into the new academic year - how time flies when you're having fun!

We have lots coming up over the next month with the run up to Nursery Rhyme Week (nurseries please check your emails!) and of course Halloween.

𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 - 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀!

Every year on 26th September, people across Europe celebrate European Day of Languages – a day dedicated to recognising the incredible diversity of languages around us and the many benefits that language learning can bring.

This year’s theme, “Languages Unite!”, is one that feels particularly special to us at Kidslingo.

Languages are about so much more than simply learning new words.

Languages connect people. They help us understand one another, celebrate our differences and discover everything we have in common.

Your challenge for today is to greet someone in another language - let us know how you get on!

🇨🇵 French Enrichment Day fun! 🇨🇵

Today I've been celebrating European Day of Languages a day early at St Mark's Primary School in Stockton-on-Tees. 🇪🇺

I ran a French Enrichment Day, transforming the school's studio! The children got to take part in lots of activities to show off their French, including ordering food, shopping, writing postcards and talking about French foods they like and dislike. Everyone who took part did brilliantly and were super enthusiastic! Bon travail 👏 I hope you all had as much fun as I did! 😁

This morning I've been back to the lovely Eastbourne Pre-School following our summer break (picture from the car because the weather is definitely not summery anymore!) 🌧️

The children learnt all about under the sea creatures and had a great time dancing and singing all about them! They were particularly good at being "el cangrejo" 🦀

Well done everyone on a fantastic first session back 👏 See you all again next week 👋

💜 I have the BEST job! 💜

This evening I've been to a brand new private French class, where the child had drawn this fantastic picture to thank me for coming to teach them! 🇲🇫 We had a brilliant first session learning about saying our names and saying how we feel. I can't wait to be back again next week for more French fun 😁

Out and about with Bruno this morning 🐻🌈
We've had a fantastic time over at Willow Road Community centre with our pre-schoolers. Highlights today include:
- A child telling me how to say "hide and seek" in Spanish, which we learnt MONTHS ago 👏
- Batman showing up and telling me "me llamo Batman" 🦇
- Our youngest ever visitor coming along to listen in at just 2 weeks old with her big brother 👶
- Trial packages coming to an end and the children continuing the sessions because we have so much fun 🎉

Just as with our Infant clubs, our aim is to ensure that our Junior clubs are engaging and enjoyable every week.

Our Junior clubs really help to prepare children for language learning when they move up to secondary school - but it's still lots of fun!

Our sessions include:

🌟dancing
🌟fun worksheets
🌟fun, laughter, smiles and little bit of silliness!

The children might be getting a bit older when they reach Juniors but they still value the chance to play and have fun!
