Last week in holiday club… 😊

Our focus was Dinosaurs and the children had have a lovely time learning all about them! 🦖🦕

We have also had lots of fun in the water, cooling down on the hot days! 💦☀️

We’ve been spotting vehicles that go past our nursery and keeping a chart of how many we see! 🚗🚌🚛

We also rescued an injured pigeon… we took good care of it and gave it lots of water! 🐦🪶

We also celebrated Sarah’s Birthday! 🎂🥳

This week in holiday club has been a busy one!! 😊

We’ve explored different types of vegetables, used potatoes to make homemade chips, practised our buttering skills, used vegetables to create artwork and baked homemade brownies!!😁😋

All while still enjoying our beautiful nursery and grounds outside!! 💕🥳

Half way through the summer holidays and we’re having so much fun and creating lots of memories 😊💕

First 2 Weeks of Holiday Club complete ✅☀️🌳

We’ve had lots of fun in the garden, exploring our environment, splashing in the water, making pizzas and most importantly… spending time with our friends 😊

Today in Holiday Club… we have focused on the story of “The Gruffalo” 🐾🪵

We read the story as a group… 📖
Then helped each other create ‘Gruffalo Crumble’ along with ‘scrambled snake’ custard and ‘owl ice cream’ 🦉🐍🍦🍰 the children told us if was very yummy 😋
We also created a sensory tuff tray with our remaining ingredients… the children enjoyed getting messy with this!! 🫟

It’s the last day of the Summer term in Woodlands. We’ve had lots of fun playing with our friends, singing and dancing as well as eating ice-cream and yummy treats for snack today.

We also said a sad farewell to some of our children moving on to school and to staff.
Donna and Charlotte, good luck in your next roles. And a happy retirement to Sharon.
To all the children moving on to school, be kind, work hard and have fun. We will miss you all!

Have a fantastic Summer break!

We’ve had a great time at our teddy bears picnic today 🧸 We made crispy cakes to eat, listened to some teddy bear music and played games with our teddies.

Orchard children were very interested watching adults use hammers yesterday. Today we used hammers and large boxes to explore this. We then used scissors very carefully to cut card and paper. We had to put them on the table when we finished and remember to be kind to our friends.
