We are so proud of our baby room completing their sponsored toddle around the nursery garden. We had a few attempts at crawling, walking and being supported by our fabulous team to make everyone feel included. 💙
We had a great time jumping on the bouncy castle too!

Max is autistic and non-verbal and may not respond if you call his name.

⚠️ If you see Max, please approach him and keep hold of him somewhere safe if you are able to do so. He may try to run away (elope), so please do not let him leave.

📞 Contact the police immediately if you see or find him.

Please keep a close eye out, particularly around roads, paths, parks and surrounding areas.

Parents and carers of children due to start Reception or Year 7 in September 2027 can apply for a school place online from 14 September.

The deadlines for applications are:

Year 7: 31 October 2026
Reception: 15 January 2027

Applications can be made online via the council's website - look out for the link in the comments.

We encourage parents and carers to submit their applications before the relevant deadline to ensure they are considered on time.

We would like to share Edward's story, Edward joined the nursery in March with his twin sister following in their big Brother Jude's footsteps. Edward and his family have had a rough start to his early life. In honour of a charity who has helped the family in time of need his dad is taking on the challenge of Great North Run and the link to his page is below.

Danesmoor 2026 summer party!!!
What an amazing way to celebrate the end of term, our children had to best time on the bouncy castle, met some lovely animals and enjoyed some delicious ice cream!
It was lovely to see so many happy smiling faces and lots of memories made.
We hope you all have a fantastic summer. 🍦🌞🎉🐏

Hi everyone, as you all know it is party day at Danesmoor tomorrow and we have lots of fun planned for all of the children. We also have Gwenny's ice cream van coming at 12pm and it will be £2.50 per child for an ice cream or ice lolly, if you're child is in for the full day please hand the money to the staff and we will keep track of who has brought cash in for the ice-cream. If you would not like your child to get an ice-cream please just let one of us know. Additionally, if your child is only attending 10-12 party time, feel free to hang around for your child's ice cream.
