💚As part of World Mental Health Week, we want to shine a light on the support available to students at Hurworth.

🌈 Today, we would like to say a huge thank you to ABC Counselling, Play Therapy & Family Solutions for the care, guidance and support they provide to so many of our young people. Their work helps students build resilience, develop positive coping strategies and feel supported through life's challenges.

We are incredibly grateful for the difference they make to the wellbeing of our school community every day.

Today, we would like to say a huge thank you to Listening Post for the invaluable support they provide to so many of our students at Hurworth.

As part of World Mental Health Week, we are shining a light on the fantastic external agencies and professionals who help support our students every day.

Today, we would like to say a huge thank you to the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) for the valuable difference they make to the lives of so many students at Hurworth School. Their expertise, care and dedication help young people to build confidence, develop coping strategies and access the support they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

🧠💚 This week at Hurworth, we are proud to be recognising World Mental Health Week.

Students will take part in a range of IGNITE activities focused on mindfulness techniques, emotional wellbeing, and understanding where to access support when needed. We will also be coming together for a whole-school assembly to explore the importance of looking after our mental health.
By promoting awareness, resilience, and positive relationships, we are helping our young people develop the skills they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
