No worksheets or pencils needed. Try one of these on the way to school or the shops.

1️⃣ Times tables: ask a random one, then swap over and let your child test you!
2️⃣ Double it, halve it: pick a number and see who can double it fastest.
3️⃣ Number plates: add up the digits on the car in front.
4️⃣ Estimating: how long do you think the journey will take, and how close were you?
5️⃣ Change: if the shopping costs £3.60 and you pay with a £10 note, how much change do you get?

Starting something new can feel a bit daunting, so we take the first few sessions gently.

Every child is taught individually, so the teacher can find out where they are confident and where they feel unsure, and start from there.

There is no need for a child to walk in knowing everything. That is what we are here for.

October is a good time to get regular practice in place. The evenings are getting darker and mock exams are not far away for Year 11.
