Hi team, we are planning on doing a fundraiser at the gym to help get Jess to the IMAAFs. It's actually Jess's birthday and the gyms 8th birthday so what better way to celebrate than with a party. Please spread the word and bring your friends and family along for an afternoon of fun, food and games.
Please let us know in advance if you would like to attend. Tickets also on the door but it would really help with catering numbers if people pay in advance so we know who's coming.
We have loads of stuff planned so don't miss out.

Summer vibes in the gym at the moment. Big fights coming up over the next few months, keep digging in team.

Why not try our BJJ classes? At Sensei we have opportunities to grapple every night of the week including Gi - No Gi - wrestling and cage grappling. All are welcome and we have black and brown belt instructors, as well as proudly being part of team Shaun mathews Brazilian jiu jitsu, one of the longest established BJJ teams in the North east.

A busy 2 weeks. 2 fights. 1 win and 1 loss and there is no shame in that. Jess took a fight against a 21-1 girl who is a 2 x world champion on 2 weeks notice and went the distance gaining even more valuable cage time. The next day we were straight back on the road for a 3 hour drive to England squad training.
We are determined to put all of these lessons to the test in November and bring back a world championship gold medal to Darlington.
