Hummersknott 100 Rewards trip

Pupils who had successfully read 20 books over the academic year, enjoyed a day out to the Metro Centre.

They were given a voucher to spend whilst there (Josh even bought more books!). Fun was had by all!

St Cuthbert's Church are hosting a Heritage Wood Fair where they are selling handcrafted items made from the old pews of St Cuthberts Church. Each year at Hummersknott, every year 7 pupil gets the chance to visit St Cuthbert's church as part of their RE curriculum.

As a thank you to Mr Snowball, who has been running this trip for the 32 years he has been teaching at Hummersknott, St Cuthbert's are offering a free drink and biscuit for all Hummersknott Academy students. St Cuthberts Church was home to Darlington's first school in 1291, with a fascinating history. The event will take place on Saturday 18th July 10am-2pm.
