MMT are looking for Motorcycle Instructors to join our successful team.
Are you passionate about motorcycling and want to turn that passion into a career? We're looking for enthusiastic people join our team and train as fully qualified motorcycle instructors.
Instructor training normally costs around £1,500. We're offering a fantastic alternative: join us initially as a volunteer, learn the ropes hands-on, once you've qualified and earned your basic instructor ticket, you'll move into a paid instructor position with us.
What You'll Be Doing.
Supporting our qualified instructors during lessons, with no upfront cost to you — turn up, learn the trade then get paid when confident enough to deliver lessons independently.
What Happens Once You Qualify?
On getting your basic CBT 'card', you will be paid, within a few weeks the DVSA will assess you to ensure you are delivering to the required standards. This is known as a standards check, you can then progress further and eventually become a fully qualified DAS instructor. All instructors are standards checked.
What do you need to apply?
A valid, full, and clean motorcycle licence held for 3 years or more.
A Basic DBS check will be required.
A genuine passion for motorcycling and helping others learn to ride safely.
Be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the training programme.
Weekend working is a role requirement.
Good communication skills and a patient, encouraging manner.
Comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
Be part of a team of instructors.
You could make a real difference by helping others become safer riders.
