So much fun adventuring with reception at Green Lane Primary Academy, Middlesbrough. With the lovely weather we were outside in the muga.
The children have been focusing on pirates this half term, so what better way to complete a unit then to actually become pirates - setting sail to hunt for treasure?

I love the week of World Book Day and this one hasn't disappointed! I adventured with Darlington Libraries on Monday - rescuing Peter Rabbit's cousin from Mr McGregor's garden, then going on a bear hunt where we found but one but three bears and finishing the day with the Night Pirates setting sail to find treasure!
Then on Thursday I joined the children at St Mary's Cockerton. Year 1 finally managed to pull up an Enormous Turnip thanks to the help of stone friends we met in the way, EYFS visited Seven Dwarfs in the forest and DJing themselves on a quest to save Snow White and Year 2 became Night Pirates chasing the ring with grown up pirates right into the trees!!
