Attendance Matters π€©
β
As the academic year ends, we're very pleased to congratulate 10 Brazil, 9 Spain and 10 Nigeria for the top 3 spots in our attendance league - closely followed by 7 Italy and 8 Japan.
These form groups have made an appearance at the top of our league on more than one occasion and should be really proud. Pupils and their families have shown how important they believe it is to be in school each and every day - thank you! π
Of course we're proud when our attendance figures are high, but what matters most is what those figures represent: pupils in school, engaged in learning, building friendships and making progress every single day.
Let's make 2026-27 our best year yet! π

π Team Longfield Shines at Town Sports π
What a fantastic day for Team Longfield at the Town Sports last week!
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our pupils who represented Longfield on the day. As a school, we finished 4th overall β a fantastic achievement!
Alongside some outstanding individual performances, with several pupils winning multiple medals, we also celebrated some great team successes, with the Year 8 girls finishing 2nd overall and the Year 7 girls finishing 3rd overall.
Our pupils achieved an impressive medal haul:
π₯ 16 Gold Medals
π₯ 10 Silver Medals
π₯ 3 Bronze Medals
A special mention must go to Victor in Year 8, who delivered an exceptional performance by breaking the Town Sports record in the 300m sprint β an incredible achievement!
Well done to everyone who took part and represented our school so brilliantly. You should all be extremely proud of your efforts. We look forward to building on this success next year and seeing what Team Longfield can achieve next. π

πβ¨ World Dance Success! β¨π
What an incredible achievement for our Year 9 pupil, Maida, who recently competed at the World Dance Championships!
Maida and her trio delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 4th in the world out of 36 entries, missing out on a medal by just 0.8%.
We couldnβt be prouder of Maida and her teammates. Their routine was strong, polished and full of confidence, showcasing the hard work, dedication and passion they have invested throughout their dance journey.
Although a medal was just out of reach, being ranked among the very best dancers in the world is an exceptional accomplishment and one that they should be incredibly proud of.
Congratulations to Maida and her trio on this fantastic result. Your commitment and determination have truly paid off, and we look forward to seeing what you achieve next! βππ
