Serendipity Nursery and Outdoor Learning - Darlington Arena

Some updates on our garden, we currently have lots of tomatoes beginning to ripen, raspberries and green beans growing. We have three big pumpkins so far, and have already enjoyed lots of delicious courgettes for lunch and tea. We also have peppers forming, strawberries and purple potatoes look lovely and healthy 😋

Ready for the winter we are going to begin clearing some of our wild flowers which are dying off ready to plant brussel sprouts, lettuce, spring onions, leeks and carrots 🌱🥬🥒🥕🍓🌶🫑🫘🎃🍅

Well done to Coley, Emma, Bethan and Ella, who completed Race for Life pretty muddy at the weekend, thinking about all of our families affected by cancer 🩷

Our children have been very busy since spring, preparing our garden beds, trying to keep the weeds away, and being extremely patient watching, watering and waiting, as our fruit and vegetables are starting to make an appearance.

The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) Since 1891 Royal Life Saving Society UK has been sharing our expertise in water safety, lifesaving, and lifeguarding to educate everyone to enjoy water safely.

This week our 2-3 year provision are learning about animals, and we have set up this exciting vets role play to extend their learning. If any children have any animals that might need treatment please bring them into Nursery this week 🐾🐕🐈🐰🐁🩺
