📣 A reminder to the whole kingdom!
Our annual Legends and Fairytales Day is happening this Thursday (Aug 20) in the town centre. We can't wait to see Darlington's finest Princes and Princesses! 👑
There will be a free trail around the town centre, with collectables available and meet and greets happening with all of your favourite characters. There will also be a live theatre production taking place in the Market Square, for all to enjoy.

Next week our popular Making Sense Together event returns to the Market Square.
The popular event supporting people with neurodiversity, promoting inclusivity and providing fun activities for everyone., takes place on Thursday 13 August, from 11am-3pm.
There will be a range a range of sensory, engaging activities and quiet spaces for families to enjoy as well as specialist organisations offering support and advice.
Free activities will include crafts, art, bubble play, and performances on the summer stage.
Organisations including Daisy Chain, Darlington Association on Disability, Darlington Carers Support and Darlington Mental Health Support Team will be on hand to share information. There will also be a chance to talk to groups and businesses who provide inclusive activities and wellbeing support in the community, as well as the opportunity to take part in workshops and activities suitable for all.

Join us to discover the amazing underwater life of a stream at Bowlees Visitor Centre on 19 August, 10.30am to 12.30pm.
We will be ‘dipping’ with nets and pots on the Wild Wednesday session to look for the insect life below the water surface.
