The children in the Investigators’ Room had a splashing time in the garden this morning! Although the puddles weren’t as big as Jenson wanted, he decided to make them bigger himself!

Lilly and Nola enjoyed seeing who could jump the highest, and they both jumped super high!

All of the children loved using the tap to fill their buckets and explore the water in their own ways. Arlo proudly said, “This is full!” Grace was also able to talk about whether her container was empty or full, showing her developing understanding of capacity.

Lucy and Sydney had lots of fun too! We ended up with lots of wet socks, but most importantly, we had a group of very happy children who thoroughly enjoyed their splash-filled morning! 💦😊

Today in Little Investigators, we got creative outdoors in the garden! 🎨🌿

The children were challenged to create their own self-portraits by painting their bodies underneath their photographed heads! 🧑

👧 Hannah kindly demonstrated how she would paint her own body on her self-portrait, and once the children had seen how it could be done, they were ready to create their very own masterpieces! 🖼️✨

Zack was excitedly calling out to Hannah, reminding her of all the body parts she would need, including her fingers and toes! 🖐️ Once Zack started painting his own body, he did an excellent job and even painted his hand to make a handprint on his picture! 🎨👏

Robert also thoroughly enjoyed the activity, spending lots of time creating his masterpiece. As he painted, he happily told us all about the colours that he and his Mammy love! 😊🌈

The children had so much fun creating their self-portraits today. They loved getting creative, exploring the paint, getting messy and trying something new! 😊🎨

💙 A Very Special Arrival! 💙

We are over the moon to share the wonderful news that Jodie has welcomed her gorgeous baby boy, Ollie! 🩵👶🏼

Ollie arrived a few days before his due date, weighing a lovely 7lb 3oz. 🥰

We’re so pleased to hear that both Jodie and little Ollie are doing well. What a very special time for Jodie and her family as they get to know their precious new arrival. 💙

🤱 World Breastfeeding Week 💚

At Little Lingfields, we are proud to support breastfeeding families.

Our managers have completed breastfeeding awareness training to help ensure our nursery is a welcoming, supportive environment where parents feel comfortable breastfeeding or expressing milk whenever they need to.

We understand that every family’s feeding journey is unique, and we are committed to offering a caring, non-judgemental space where parents and babies feel valued and supported.

Last week a few of the Explorers took a trip to the park.

It began with a little pancake picnic to build up some energy.

The children seemed so excited. Jenson played peek a boo on the climbing frame, whilst Hugo loved swinging on the swings and going down the slide. His smile just says it all😊

Ollie and the girls enjoyed the see-saw going up and down, staff enjoyed it too?😂

💖 A Very Special Arrival! 💖

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Emily has welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Miley, into the world! 🩷

Although Miley wasn’t due until today, she decided she couldn’t wait to meet everyone and arrived three weeks early, weighing a perfect 6lb 4oz.

We’re thrilled to share that both Emily and baby Miley are doing wonderfully, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
