Looking for something fun to do this week? There’s still time to join us for three action-packed days of musical theatre at Darlington Community Theatre!

Inspired by your favourite movies and musicals, our summer workshop is packed with singing, dancing, acting and lots of fun!

It’s the perfect opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, make new friends and enjoy an unforgettable few days on stage.

FAMILY & FRIENDS SHOWCASE!
We’ll finish the workshop with a special showcase performance on the final afternoon, giving everyone the chance to show family and friends what they’ve been working on!

💷 £60 per person for all 3 days

🌦️ Today’s Library Takeover Day Update! 🌦️

Our free family fun day is on TODAY! Due to the worry of wet and windy conditions, Library Takeover Day is taking place today at Darlington Library, Crown Street, instead of the Market Square.

Join us for a day packed with FREE family activities, including:

📚 Storytelling with Imagine Me
✏️ Draw along with illustrator Liz Million
🎨 Face Painting
🎶 KPOP Party
🪄 Magic Show
🌟 DAPA Showcase

All main stage activities will be held in the Children's Library.

You'll also be able to meet authors Elaina Moon, Caroline Hardie, Gillian Jackson, Jackie Watson, Liz Million, CJ Grayson and Dr Paul Davison, enjoy book signings, get creative with arts and crafts activities, and discover some fascinating creatures with Zoolab! 🐍🦎🕷️

💚 We’re not quite ready to say goodbye to Shrek just yet… 💚

What an incredible adventure Shrek the Musical has been!

From the very first rehearsal to the final curtain, this production was brought to life by an amazing team of performers, dancers, creatives, technicians, stage crew, volunteers, front-of-house helpers and supportive families.

A huge thank you to every single person who played a part in making the show so special. Whether you were onstage, backstage, in the wings, or cheering us on from the audience, you helped create memories we will treasure for a very long time.
