Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thanks to your incredible generosity, the event was a huge success.
It was wonderful to welcome so many families, friends and members of our school and parish community. A huge thank you also to everyone who donated cakes and sweet treats. The support shown by our families was incredible, and we are so lucky to be part of such a caring and generous school community.
A special well done to our Year 6 pupils, who organised and led the event with maturity, responsibility and enthusiasm. They were excellent ambassadors for our school and made us all incredibly proud.
As part of their learning about the Catholic Social Teaching principle of Solidarity, our Upper Key Stage 2 children have been exploring what it means to stand alongside others in times of need. Through supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, they have put their faith into action, showing compassion, service and a genuine desire to make a difference. This event also marks the beginning of Year 6's Faith in Action Award journey, during which they will take part in a range of acts of service and leadership throughout the year.
Thank you once again for helping make the morning such a success. Every donation helped support a wonderful cause. 💚☕
