Our students complete 3 projects per year. We receive funding from The Durham Freemasons to complete the work. If you are a local charity, community centre, church, school etc and have a small project you would like support with. Please get in touch. Earlier today I visited Team 44 at Darlington Etc King’s Trust Team who are progressing on their course, and delivered a talk on British Values.

I’ve been coming along to Kings Trust for almost four years now, to not only talk about British Values but also to discover what these amazing young people have planned for the future.

I am pleased to be able to help the team find rewarding placements in the business community, and I look forward to seeing Team 44 Graduate from their course later this year.

Rachel and I ended the year with a lovely fresh frosty walk this morning. We are ready for a positive start to 2026. Why not join us??

Team 43 have just completed their Community Project at Red Hall Community Centre. They have freshened up 2 large rooms, cleaning, prepping and painting them neutral colours as requested. One of the students painted 2 fantastic canvasses (Darlington themed) and they bought plants to decorate the rooms. They have worked well and done themselves proud 🙌

Today Team 43 delivered a Dragons Den Style presentation for the Durham Freemasons, to raise money for their Community Project. They did us proud and received the full budget that they had planned for. Thank you to Andrew, William and Malcolm for their time and support. The funding from the Durham Freemasons, really does make all the difference for the students projects. We are very lucky and grateful.

Thank you to Claire from Durham Constabularly for bringing the gorgeous Maverick 🐾 to to see us today, and for talking to the students about the different roles that dogs play within the police force. We always enjoy doggy hugs here at the Darlington Team room 😊

A lovely sponsored walk this morning. The students completed the 5km loop around the Tees Barrage, raising £52 to go towards their Community Project. Well done Team 43 🙌

A big thank you to Ruth from MoneyReady.Org for delivering an engaging and interactive 2 day financial education course. The students gained a level 1 Personal Money Management Accreditation qualification to add to their CV 👏

Week 1 - A fabulous start to the 12 weeks with a bunch of amazing young people. Lots of team building, Kate visited us from the KingsTrust and the students all completed their 1st presentation. Well done team 43 🙌
