Christines Childminding (childminder) RETIRED Hi my name is Christine and i have been a registered childminder for 30 years. trips to the sea side, soft play and walks around the river.

I live in the WHINFIELD SCHOOL AREA OF DARLINGTON with my husband Tom and my 2 cats. I have been married for almost 40 years I drop off children / pick up children from WHINFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL. and work full time most school holidays.During the day throughout term time. I only take care of school aged children alongside our grandson and during school holidays we spend alot of time doing activities both indoors and outdoors. The children enjoy leisure activities i.e Bowling, Visiting parks, farms , museums and cinemas. we also enjoy going to the Dolphin centre to play badminton.We participate in activities indoors, baking, Crafts and games. Term time: i Have a variety of toys which i rotate daily and the children get to choose. The children also enjoy the use of a playstation, Eye toy and a hard standing dance mat. I help the children with their homework and have a routine of sn homework snack or tea then free time. We have a very happy fun loving atmosphere in the house which enables the children to learn and have fun together. I have a car but also take trips out by bus and train. My Experience
I have worked with children since leaving school. I have worked in a private day nursery, A childrens home and have been childminding for almost 30 years. I became a childminder in order to stay at home with our girls but have enjoyed the work and enjoy the activites with the children so decided to carry on. I childmind children before and after school and school holidays alongside taking care of our grandson Elliot who will also be attending Whinfield school
We have a very happy atmosphere in the house and are a very fun loving family which enables me to provide a happy, safe and friendly environment for the children in my care. All my family are CRB checked. My Qualifications
I have a Diploma in childcare equivalent to NVQ level 3.
2 Child welfare certificate A and B grades. Child protection/ safe gaurding children certificate
I have First aid and food hygiene certificate along with a variety of other certificates for child care
I continue to upgrade my certicates through Sure Start

My Availability
Monday to Friday 7am - 9am. School drop off.
3.00 - 6.00 after school pick up. I will negotiate other hours and I am quite flexible in order to help with your childcare needs
In school holidays for day care I provide good home cooked, healthy meals free of charge. Full time or part time most of the school holidays. I am not avaiable on weekends or bank holidays. My Fees

Thank you Oliver and family for my lovely presents. One of my favourite things to do. Will miss you all but look forward to seeing everyone growing up and moving onto their new adventures. Xx

Hi I will be closing Christines Childminding (childminder) business on 20th July 2023 due to retirement Thankyou everyone that has supported my business over the past 33 years.
