Sometimes, support starts with a walk and a conversation.

For a young person struggling to engage with education, walking alongside someone who listens, supports and encourages them can be an important first step.

At The Real Life Project, we recognise the value of giving young people space to talk, build trust and share what might be making things difficult.

We help bridge the gap between the young person, their school and their parents or carers making sure the student’s voice is heard and helping everyone work together towards a positive way forward. 💜

Small steps can lead to meaningful progress.

Thank you to the DVLA Test Centre in Darlington for donating this furniture to our provision. This is a great addition to one of our break out areas for students.

🌟 THREE WEEKS OF 100% ATTENDANCE. 🌟

We’re incredibly proud to share that The Real Life Project has achieved 100% attendance for THREE weeks in a row! 💯👏

And that’s right across everything we offer — our Alternative Provision, After-School Provision and 1-to-1 sessions.

A massive well done to every single young person, and thank you to our team, families, schools and professionals who continue to support them.

🎉 100% ATTENDANCE! 🎉

👏 Every single one of our students across our alternative provision; after school and one to one sessions has achieved 100% attendance this week!

For some young people, simply turning up, engaging and giving things a go can be a huge achievement. We’re incredibly proud of the commitment our students have shown.

They’ve worked hard, taken part in their learning, built relationships and continued to make positive steps forward.

Here’s to week 2 💪
