A great way to round off another financial year! π
On Friday, we celebrated the end of Q4 in true Baltic style.
We kicked things off with our latest Baltic Exceeds draw, recognising members of our Commercial team who went above and beyond their targets throughout the quarter. π―
Then, colleagues from across the UK came together for our annual summer party β Baltic Carnival β with fantastic food, carnival games, stilt walkers, fire performers, a packed dancefloor and plenty of opportunities to celebrate another fantastic year together. π€ΉββοΈπͺ
One thing that's always important to us is making sure everyone can be part of moments like these, which is why we covered accommodation for our remote colleagues travelling to join the celebrations.
Congratulations to everyone recognised through Baltic Exceeds, and thank you to every member of Team Baltic for everything you've contributed over the past financial year.
Here's to another great year ahead. ππ

We're proud to have been recognised as one of the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers 2026 by Department for Education, ranking 30th nationally. π
What makes this recognition particularly meaningful is that it's based on our approach as an employer of apprentices within our own business.
These are the only government-backed rankings in the UK, and recognise organisations that demonstrate a commitment to high-quality apprenticeship programmes, learner experience and creating opportunities for people to develop their careers.
At Baltic, apprenticeships aren't just what we deliver - they're a key part of how we've built our own teams. Many of our colleagues started their careers with us as apprentices and have gone on to progress across the business.
It's something we're incredibly proud of, and a great reflection of our belief in the value of apprenticeships for learners, employers and the wider workforce.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible! π

Our latest for LBC explores a challenge that doesnβt get enough attention in conversations around early careers.
Getting into work is difficult enough right now. But for many young people who do secure a role, the problem becomes what happens next.
When early-career roles are full of activity but light on progression, it becomes harder to build confidence, retain talent and develop long-term capability.
In the piece, we look at why structured development matters more in a constrained labour market - and why high-quality apprenticeships can offer clearer progression for both employers and learners.

Pressure without progression: That's the shortfall of modern work | LBC
The challenges young people face when trying to enter the workforce are well-documented.

Last night we were at The Apprenticeship Guide Awards, where we were proud to be named Best Employer (Small). π
Judges highlighted our commitment to apprenticeships as part of a wider talent strategy, alongside the proportion of our workforce on programmes and the way we support work-life balance and ongoing skills development.
Itβs a great recognition of the environment weβve worked to build at Baltic β one where people are supported to develop, perform and progress.
This morning was a good example of what that looks like in practice. π
We held our quarterly Baltic Exceeds draw, recognising members of our Commercial team who have gone beyond their targets and delivered strong results, with a record number of entries. Our resident Master of Ceremonies, Tony Hobbs, was on hand to dish out holiday vouchers to winners from across the sales floor.
Congratulations to all of our Q3 winners β time to dust off those passports. π
A big thank you to everyone across the business who contributes to the culture that made last night possible.

Quality isnβt something you should have to take on trust.
Baltic Apprenticeships is now ISO 9001 certified, following an independent audit of how we manage quality, performance and continuous improvement. π
For our employer partners, this internationally recognised standard provides assurance that:
βοΈ Processes are structured and controlled
βοΈ Performance is actively monitored
βοΈ Compliance is built into delivery
βοΈ Improvement is continuous, not reactive
Itβs external validation of the standards already embedded across Baltic π

This morning, we launched our new Apprenticeship Performance Platform to bring greater transparency to apprenticeship outcomes across the sector. π»
So how did we perform?
Baltic Apprenticeships QAR: 80.4% π
(up from 76.1% last year) π
The highest achievement rate among leading digital and technology apprenticeship providers β and well above the sector average of 70%.
Achievement rates are one of the clearest indicators of whether apprenticeship training is actually delivering outcomes β not just starts. This reflects a continued focus on supporting learners through to completion and helping employers build long-term capability.

Today is International Womenβs Day!
Across our programmes, women are building careers in IT, data, software, marketing and digital roles - developing new technical skills, breaking barriers and stepping into roles that shape organisations across the UK. π
Apprenticeships play such an important role in opening up these opportunities, giving people the chance to build capability, confidence and long-term careers.
To everyone developing their careers through our programmes, and to every employer supporting their journey, weβre celebrating you today and every day.
Happy International Womenβs Day. π
