🌋 💎 🌈 🧑‍🔬 What an incredible start to our Summer Holiday Club!

Our children have been busy experimenting with erupting volcanoes, excavating for hidden gems, discovering colourful science by making rainbow ferris wheels, creating giant bubbles and enjoying fantastic children’s theatre performances filled with puppets and laughter!

It has been full of curiosity, creativity, teamwork and smiles. Thank you to all of our wonderful children for making every day so much fun - we’ve loved every minute 💙 ⭐️

As we come to the end of another wonderful year, we would like to wish all of our school leavers a very fond farewell on their last day at St. Edwin’s Pre-School. It has been an absolute privilege to watch you grow, learn and flourish, and we are so proud of each and every one of you. We wish you every success and happiness as you begin your exciting new adventure at school in September.

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our families for your lovely cards, kind messages and generous gifts. Your thoughtfulness and support mean so much to us.

We truly are blessed to have the best job in the world, caring for and learning alongside such wonderful children and families. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your children’s early years journey and for trusting us with such precious memories.

We hope you all have a fabulous, fun-filled summer, making lots of special memories together.

🇬🇧🎶 This Monday, our pre-school children had a wonderful time during Music Bugs with a special Trooping the Colour theme! The children enjoyed singing, dancing, exploring instruments, and joining in with activities inspired by this important British celebration.

Did you know?

👑 Trooping the Colour is the King’s official birthday parade, even though his actual birthday is on a different date.

🎺 The tradition dates back over 260 years and is one of Britain’s most famous ceremonial events.

🐎 More than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and hundreds of musicians take part in the spectacular parade.

🏰 The event takes place in London and ends with members of the Royal Family appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch a flypast by the Royal Air Force.

Our children loved learning about this special occasion through music, movement, and sensory play. What a fantastic way to celebrate British traditions while having lots of fun! 🇬🇧✨

Bookings are now open for our Summer Holiday Club, exclusively for children currently enrolled at St. Edwin’s Pre-School and their siblings up to Year 2.

Join us from 9am–4pm for fun-filled days packed with:

🎨 Creative crafts
🔬 STEM activities and experiments
🌱 Gardening projects
🍃 Outdoor learning and exploration
🧺 Summer picnics, games and adventures

Our Holiday Club provides a familiar, nurturing environment where children can continue learning, playing and making memories with friends throughout the summer.

⚠️ Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
