➡️ Is my baby too young to come to your classes?
Not at all! Our Young Baby classes are specially designed for little ones from birth to around 6 months. Even tiny babies are constantly learning! Their brains are developing rapidly, and they’re soaking up everything around them. Gentle sounds, touch, movement, and bonding time with you all play a part in their early development, and our sessions are full of those moments.

➡️ What if they sleep through their session?
That’s totally okay, and very normal! Even if your baby is snoozing, they’re still taking in the sounds and atmosphere. Plus, it gives you a chance to relax, enjoy the music, chat to other parents, and pick up ideas you can use at home.
Our classes aren’t just about early learning (though there’s lots of that going on!). They’re also a chance for you to bond with your baby, meet other parents, and feel part of a friendly, supportive community. Many parents say it becomes a highlight of their week. Something just for them and their baby to enjoy together 🥰

➡️ What if they cry?
Babies cry - it’s how they communicate! You’re always free to feed, cuddle, change, or step out for a moment with your little one if you need to. There’s no pressure and no judgement at all, just a supportive space where you and your baby can be yourselves. And we’re always here to give you a helping hand if you need one.

➡️ Can I bring another adult with me?
Yes, absolutely! Whether it’s a partner, grandparent, or friend, extra pairs of hands are always welcome. We don’t charge for adults in our classes. Just let us know in advance if possible, so we can make sure we’ve got enough space for everyone.

👋 Hello!

It has been a very long time since I introduced myself, so I thought now would be a good time to do it again!

So, hi! 👋

I'm Sarah.

I'm a former secondary school Head of Music and mum to three gorgeous children. I taught for 18 years and loved it for most of that time! What I didn't love, though, was never having enough time with my own children. So, nearly five years ago, I decided to take a big leap of faith and start my very own Rhythm Time franchise.

And what a fantastic decision that turned out to be! ❤️

It has given me the flexibility to be a more present mum for my growing children — to attend school assemblies, sports days and all those little moments that matter, as well as being there for the school runs.

My eldest, George, is just about to start secondary school, and I honestly can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I'm so incredibly grateful that I was able to take the opportunity to be more present for him, particularly as he is autistic and has higher support needs than many children. I've been able to give him the stability and support he needs to thrive, and for that I will always be so grateful.

Running my own business was never something I imagined I'd be doing, but it turns out that it combines my love of music, my teaching skills and my parenting experience in a way that I absolutely love!

Music has always been a huge part of who I am, and I can't imagine my life without it. As a very shy child, music helped me to grow in confidence and self-belief, make new friends and experience so many wonderful things.

I'm incredibly passionate about the power of music to support children's development, so it is an absolute joy to still be able to do this as part of my daily work.

I also love meeting and supporting new parents and getting to know them and their wider families. Over time, I've realised just how much my classes mean to people and how they become an important part of their weekly routine — not just for the little ones, but for the grown-ups too.

So that's me! 💜

❓Did you know babies are born ready to respond to music? ❔

🧠Research shows that music and language use the same areas of the brain - so when your baby hears singing and rhythm, they're developing key skills for communication, listening, memory, and emotional connection. Babies often start experimenting with sound and melody before they can speak - it's one of their first steps towards language!

🎵Our classes offer a friendly and fun way to introduce your little one to music and meet other parents too! We have classes especially for young babies under 6 months and also babies up to walking.
