We are very excited to announce that we have been successful in our National Lottery Community Fund bid to deliver our Crafting Minds Men's Health Project across Sunderland!

We will be delivering men's talking and alternative therapy sessions alongside opportunities for men to get involved in furniture upcycling and other DIY activities.

Aged 16 or over and out of work? Looking to develop your skills in FOOTBALL COACHING? If you live in the Darlington area, you could be eligible to enrol on an exciting and completely FREE 6-week course, learning alongside ex-professional football players.

All of the training will be held at either The Dolphin Centre or the Sedge Cafe (Darlo Diner) in Darlington. All travel costs will be reimbursed.

Following on from the 6-week course, we will support you to get into further training or relevant employment based on your new skills.

Wearside Rewinds in Washington (NE37 2SG) are looking for candidates aged 16-24 to fill the role of Engineering Technician's Assistant for its successful electrical engineering business.

Successful candidates will be partnered up with one of our qualified electrical engineers and will support them on their various maintenance and installation jobs. You will work on a shift basis to match your partnered engineer.

A six-month contract is available initially, with the potential for successful staff to go onto a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship and work towards becoming a fully qualified electrical engineer.

No prior work experience is required, as full comprehensive training will be provided. We are looking for dedicated team-players who are willing to learn on the job and have an interest in pursuing a career in electrical engineering.
