Where do I begin… 5 and a half years ago I had a vision to create a safe space, a space that normalised parents going to the gym whether that be for fitness, weight loss, mental health or just an escape from the day to day

It became that and more, We had families, we had play groups we had a space where people could come and vent when they generally felt crap and lost

We created a community

I have loved my time here and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me with your little ones

If I made a difference to your day (parenthood can be so lonely) then I achieved what I set out to do

But all good things must come to an end

I want to thank Lisa for all your help and support through the years, you became my own councillor when I needed it and the party planning queen 👸

Suzanne for your help and support in the last couple of months and taking on playgroup when I no longer could, I never had a doubt in my mind that things wouldn’t run smooth with you behind the wheel

Thanks to Deith and team physique for giving me the opportunity and trusting me to put my vision to the test

All my families and their little ones for making my job worth while ❤️

A new chapter is beginning for me and I hope to keep in contact with you all

I will open Good Friday (18th) if there is enough interest (historically people tend to have plans so putting feelers out), however I’m in the gym at 1pm so it would be 12 close on Good Friday…

I am sure by now most of you have heard the rumours about the crèche closing. I can now confirm that this is true. I have spent 5 and a half years happily looking after your little ones, but it is time for me to move on to pastures new ❤️. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for all your support and custom over the years. My last working day will be Friday 2nd May. I am taking some holidays over Easter so I won’t be open every day but will up date further on that by end of week. All parties booked will be honoured ❤️. Please see post below ⬇️

Re; UPDATE on our CRECHE, SOFTPLAY & PARTY ZONE FACILITY

Hi members…

Sad news I am afraid in that we have made the decision to close the Crèche facility.

With the recent change in government policy providing so much free childcare the crèche has suffered. Having conducted a profit/loss study it has become clear that it is no longer feasible to continue with the business.

Sam Patterson , who had done a great job over the years looking after all your little ones, also approached us recently wishing to pursue new challenges which again means the timings are right - we wish her every luck and happiness going forward.

I did explore options to replace her but unfortunately no suitable candidate was available - again this is principally because they all are very busy and benefitting from recent change in government policy as previously mentioned. We can not compete with the earnings qualified child carers are receiving.

The Crèches last working days will be Friday 2nd May. We are honouring the last few parties booked in but not taking any more .

Thanks to those of you who supported this business over the years, it was much appreciated.

I’m a great believer in things going “full circle” so never say never to us offering this service again but for now it’s goodbye.

The business will be advertised as a going concern in the near future but if anyone is immediately interested then contact me directly and I will put you in touch with the owners.
