Ahoy there! 🏴‍☠️ Our Rainbow Rose children have had an action packed month! We worked together to build cork pirate ships to learn about floating, enjoyed some fun pirate yoga, and wound down with a soothing, multi sensory relaxation session with whale sounds. 🐋✨

We also took a mini-adventure to our local river, cooling off in the water and spotting bright blue dragonflies!

Back at the nursery, we used magnifying glasses to inspect our natural treasures and painted beautiful symmetrical butterflies.

Such a wonderful mix of adventure and learning! 🎨🌿

It has been a month of adventure here at nursery as our theme has been all about ‘holidays’! ✈️🚂

The children have had an absolutely fantastic time getting creative, building their very own train and aeroplane to take them on magical journeys. They even made a pretend x-ray machine and their own passports to get ready for their travels! Along the way, we have had some wonderful chats about different climates and what the weather is like all around the world.

It has been so lovely to see their imaginations soar as they explore exciting new destinations together! 🌍☀️

All this glorious sunshine has worked absolute wonders in our garden! ☀️🌻

Over the last few weeks, the children have had so much fun checking on our vegetable patch and watching our sunflowers grow taller and taller. It has been such a wonderful experience for them to observe the progress and learn all about how plants grow and flourish in the warm weather.

We are so proud of our little gardeners and can't wait to see what is ready to harvest soon! 🌱🥕

The Lily Room’s Woodland Adventure! 🌳🍂

The children in the Lily Room had a wonderful time exploring the local woods! Our little adventurers were very busy listening out for nature sounds and searching the forest floor for the perfect sticks.

They even did some foraging, picking wild blackberries that they proudly enjoyed in their puddings at lunchtime! To finish off a fantastic trip, they headed to the park for a well-deserved snack and playtime.

We just love seeing them learn and have so much fun outdoors! 💚

Growing season is well underway at Dimples Day Nursery, and our little gardeners have been hard at work! 🥕

From digging in the soil to proudly showing off our very own carrot harvest, the children are learning all about how our food grows.

Hands-on gardening is a fantastic way for our little ones to develop fine motor skills, engage their senses, and understand the natural world around them. Plus, it’s just a lot of fun getting messy in the mud! ✨

Over the last few weeks, all of our nursery rooms have had some very special, wriggly visitors! The children have been fascinated watching our caterpillars grow, build their chrysalises, and finally emerge as beautiful butterflies.

It’s been a wonderful hands-on way for the children to learn about the incredible life cycle of a butterfly, teaching them about nature, patience, and caring for living things.

The best part? This week, the children carefully released them into the garden to start their next adventure. We loved watching them fly away! 🌿
