A very warm welcome back to all our lovely children and families after the summer break! We hope you’ve had a wonderful and relaxing summer. ☀️💙⭐

It has been so lovely to welcome everyone back to school, and we are looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter and lots of exciting adventures!

We are also delighted to introduce our new Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputy Head Pupils for the year ahead. 🎉👏

They have been chosen to represent our school, be wonderful role models and help make a positive difference to our school community. We are incredibly proud of them and know they will do a fantastic job in their new roles!

🌟 100% Distinctions in LAMDA! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Heathcote pupils, who achieved an incredible 100% Distinction rate in their recent LAMDA examinations! 🎭

LAMDA develops confidence, communication and performance skills that last a lifetime, and we're so proud of what our pupils have achieved.

With LAMDA lessons and a wide range of speaking, listening and performance opportunities across our incredible, diverse extra-curricular club timetable, there's never been a better time to get involved.

What a fantastic evening at our Heathcote Preparatory School & Nursery Silent Disco! 💙🪩

From epic dance moves to huge smiles, our pupils had an unforgettable night singing, dancing, and making wonderful memories.

A huge thank you to our amazing Friends of Heathcote School (FoHS) for organising and funding this brilliant event. Your support makes experiences like this possible, and we're so grateful 🙌😍

🎓✨ Congratulations to our wonderful Heathcote Preschool Graduates! ✨🎓
What a special day as we celebrated our Preschool children and all they have achieved this year. From first friendships and new discoveries to growing in confidence and independence, it has been a joy to watch them flourish.
We are so proud of every one of our little graduates and can't wait to see them take their next exciting step as they begin their 'big school' journey in our Heathcote Prep Reception class!
Well done, Preschool Class of 2026 - you'll always be part of the Heathcote family even when you graduate from our Form 6! 💙

💙✨ Once a Heathcotian, Always a Heathcotian ✨💙
This week, we said goodbye to our wonderful Form 6 pupils as they celebrated their final days at Heathcote.
From a fun-filled Treat Day on Monday to their heartfelt Leavers' Assembly, shirt signing, and our much-loved tradition of walking through the whole-school Heathcote archway (almost crawling in places with our nursery pupil section of the arch!), it has been a week full of laughter, memories and more than a few tears.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and all that you have achieved. As you take your next steps into Year 7, remember that you will always be part of the Heathcote family.
Good luck, Form 6 - we can't wait to see all that the future holds for you. 💙

🥈 A fantastic time was had for Heathcote Preparatory School's Form 2 at the Mini Games event at Chelmsford Athletics Centre!

Our team showed incredible determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition, earning an outstanding 2nd place finish out of 1800 children from 44 schools! 🎉👏

Every participant gave their best, supported one another, and represented Heathcote with pride. We couldn't be prouder of their effort, achievement and positive attitude.

Well done to everyone involved, and thank you to the staff and supporters who helped make the day such a success! 💙

A huge congratulations to our 6 amazing Year 5 & Year 6 pupils who represented our school. 💙 They showed fantastic determination, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout every stage of the event, giving it their all with passion and finishing with huge smiles! 😄👏
