Today is a big day for so many of our Treetops leavers as they start school! ❤️🎒

We know today will be an emotional one for lots of our families (and for us too!). It has been such a privilege to watch your children grow, learn and make so many special memories during their time with us.

We hope they all have the most amazing first day at school. We are so proud of every single one of them. ❤️🌳

As another group of Treetoppers spread their wings to go to school, we’ve been overwhelmed by the beautiful cards, gifts, drawings and kind words from our families. 💚🌿
Reading these messages reminds us why we do what we do. Knowing that children leave Treetops with happy memories, growing confidence and a love of the outdoors is the greatest compliment we could ever receive.
Thank you to every family who has trusted us to be part of your child’s journey. It has been a privilege to watch your children grow, explore, laugh, build friendships and discover the magic of childhood outdoors.

There really is something magical about spending our days here… ✨🌿

From wandering beneath the trees to exploring the river’s edge, every day brings new adventures, discoveries and moments of wonder. Nature gives us the perfect place to learn, play, imagine and grow, and we never take for granted how lucky we are to call this our classroom. We think there’s no more special place to experience childhood than here at Treetops.

At Treetops, using real tools gives children the opportunity to develop confidence, independence and practical life skills in a safe, supported environment. As they hammer, whittle, saw, drill and create, they strengthen their fine motor skills, learn about the properties of natural materials, practice assessing and managing risks, and build cooperation with their peers. Tool use is a purposeful experience that encourages creativity, resilience and a real sense of achievement!

🍄 Did you know…? 🍄

At Treetops, we love singing songs that help children learn about the natural world around them.

The Mushroom Song is one of our favourites! Not only is it lots of fun to sing, but it also helps children develop their language, memory and listening skills while building their knowledge of woodland wildlife and nature.

It’s always lovely to hear the children joining in with such enthusiasm. 💚🌿🍄
